Check out this presentation on sustainable architecture over at TED. It’s not only impressive, it’s entertaining, as Bjarke Ingles, the Danish designer giving the talk, has a great sense of humor. The highlights: Share/Save Share/Save Share/Save Ocean garbage has always been a problem. Though when I was a kid, the biggest concern was being careful not to step on any glass while building sandcastles. The company Verilux has developed a line of UVC-light sanitizing wands. Yes, a wand. Unlike the wands of yore, this does not cue orchestras nor has any affiliation with Hogwart’s School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
